(* Forza Motorsport: 3 titles
* Need for Speed
: 6 titles
* Project Gotham Racing: 2 titles
* Burnout: 4 titles
* Codemaster's Race Driver: 2 titles)
None of these titles will have the content, quality or longevity of Gran Turismo 5; I can assure you of that. There is only one REAL driving simulator...
runs well
"Non-promotional use only?"
yeah I'm kinda curious as well as to what they mean by that...
hmmn, I'd have to see Sony's E3 lineup before drawing any conclusion to GT5's release date.
A bit old news, at least if you hang around GTplanet anyway.
But it's always good news to see GT5 in motion, especially by experienced drivers :D
My G27 wheel is starting to get a little dusty... I hope this game comes out soon.
I'm don't know what's more shocking... the new 'Chaos will Rise' trailer, or the fact that someone actually thinks Reach looks better than GOWIII...
It's a slow start to 2010, but with God of War III and GT5 around the corner, it'll be a great year of PS3 owners...again
I've seen Bioshock 2 in another article (the first 10 minutes or something like that) and it's really nothing special to look at. Not saying it will be bad, but visually it doesn't impress in the least.
And what's Dante's Inferno doing on that list...
yeah most games upscale but i think they're talking about native resolution (the resolution the engine is running)
wow i thought this game fell off the planet; I knew it back when it was just called Project IM. but it definitely is looking good, especially considering its browser game.
@MGR
All the cars do have damage. The ~200 'premium' cars experience interior damage and more exterior damage such as doors flying open (or off), lights breaking, etc. Something other racing simulators don't have due to manufacturer restrictions.
"...the winner here is God of War 3 and it was not surprising."
took the words straight out of my mouth
"Battlefield is a delicate product that we want to make sure we're getting the most out of. Pushing out more 1943-like products could actually damage the franchise."
Absolutely, now bring on Battlefield 3...
Billion dollar shooter, not too sure about that. Although I'm sure a plethora of PC fps gamers will be picking it up, following many's disdain for the pc version of MW2.
But I believe the series' true return to fame, as some will agree with me, is when Battlefield 3 is released.
"Alan Wake will blur the lines between video gaming and television"
they mean in terms of storytelling or graphics... or both?
They gonna release a Benchmark for this sometime soon? I ran the first game at Max settings with ~45-60 frames on average, but still I'd like to just see it.
My rig BTW:
-Intel C2D E8400 OC'd @ 3.6ghz (air)
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 C216 SC edition
-6gb DDR3 @ 1333hz
-780i FTW Mobo
Battlefield 3... the return to glory of the PC fps genre...
"we had lots of negative feedback from the PS3 community"
Was this because they (DICE) had said the PS3 couldn't do Betas that got everyone pissed back then? Or was it IW with COD4... or was it some other game altogether?
... I remember some big game had a beta that was exclusive to the X360 and the sole reason was because the PS3 wasn't compatible. I just can't remember which.
All I'm hearing is "We're afraid of piracy." And I frankly don't blame them. But if you deliver a product that takes advantage of the PC's infrastructure and capabilities, it's something you won't have to worry about much... like I.W does with MW2.
